Artificial Intelligence
Our research analyses the AI value chain, spanning data, compute, models, and applications, to identify strategic opportunities within a contested geopolitical landscape.
The technology and policy ecosystem around artificial intelligence has become an arena of geopolitical contestation. Our research analyses this landscape through the lens of the AI value chain, spanning data, compute, models, and applications, to identify opportunities and vulnerabilities from an Indian perspective.
We advocate for competitive markets and prioritise open technologies that can enable trust, broaden access and drive innovation. Our work outlines key strategies to build capabilities, mitigate short-term risks, and strengthen the domestic research and innovation ecosystem in the long term.
