This book chapter argues that the recent spate of cyber scams that have deeply impacted the Quad members and inflamed concerns about supply chain security emerge as the desirable areas for collaboration in the current geopolitical environment that India and other Quad members find themselves in because of Washington’s machinations. The chapter is divided into four primary sections. First, it dwells briefly on the history of cyber cooperation through the Quad grouping. In the next two sections, the argument around how the Quad could work towards securing software supply chains and addressing rising cyber scams is presented. Finally, it discusses in more detail the challenges to Quad’s agenda going forward and why the proposed areas for collaboration work in the current geopolitical environment.
