18 million people turn 18 each year in India, which already has a surplus of over 100 million people in agricultural employment. Unless the economy creates 20 million new jobs each year, India’s demographic dividend risks becoming a liability.
We at Takshashila Institution are working on a project to develop and evaluate ideas for an ecosystem that can generate 20 million jobs annually in India.
