S. Chandrashekar

Former JRD Tata Visiting Professor, NIAS

S. Chandrashekar was the JRD Tata Visiting Professor at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS). He spent more than two decades at ISRO, where he worked across the programme — including satellites, launch vehicles, and remote sensing — and has represented and led Indian delegations to the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS).
