Assistant Director, Technical Directorate, Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center (IN-SPACe)

Maneesh is an Aerospace Engineer currently serving with the Technical Directorate of Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center (IN-SPACe). In this role, he leverages his domain expertise to enable, promote, and oversee the growth of India’s private space sector. He has been involved in technology-transfer, facilitation and hand-holding and PPP initiatives.

Prior to joining IN-SPACe, Maneesh built a career at the Composites Entity of VSSC, ISRO in Trivandrum. During his tenure, he worked across the lifecycle of aerospace structures—spanning design, processing, testing, and precision metrology. His notable achievements at ISRO include the indigenization of critical imported technologies, driving process automation initiatives, and delivering structural design solutions for composite hardware across various Indian launch vehicles.

He holds a B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) and continues to contribute to the advancement of the nation’s space capabilities.
