Takshashila signs an MoU with the North Eastern Centre of Excellence on Land Governance
The Takshashila Institution signed an MoU with the North Eastern Centre of Excellence on Land Governance (NE-CoELG), Guwahati on 5th February, 2026.
We are delighted to engage with NE-CoELG to strengthen capacity building and promote excellence in Geospatial for land governance, and we look forward to an exciting journey ahead. The gathering was chaired by Smt. L. Sweety Changsan, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Assam, and held in the presence of senior officials from the Government of Assam, including Shri Kailash Karthik N, IAS, Director of Land Records & Surveys, Sowmya Prabhakar (COO, Takshashila Institution), and other senior officials.
The MoU was signed between Shri Prabir Kumar Dutta, ACS, Principal, Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre (NE-CoELG) and Prof. Y. Nithiyanandam, Head, Geospatial Research Programme, Takshashila Institution.
