Operation Sindoor
On April 22, 2025, a terrorist attack took place in Pahalgam valley of Jammu and Kashmir, India, killing 26 people.
India as well as the international leaders strongly condemned the incident.
On April 23, 2025, as a quick response to the Pakistan-backed attack, India downgraded diplomatic ties with the neighbour, suspended the Indus Water Treaty, sealed the Attari-Wagah Border, declared Pakistan’s top diplomats persona non grata and suspended visas for Pakistani nationals.
India launched Operation Sindoor during the early hours of May 7th, 2025, a calculated military response targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan Administered Kashmir.
