Takshashila India-France Dialogue: Exploring New Frontiers In The Strategic Partnership

Since India and France established a strategic partnership in 1998, ties between the two countries have expanded in key areas including investments, research and innovation, academic cooperation, defence, maritime security, space, and civilian nuclear cooperation. The two countries share convergence on several key issues such as climate change, cooperation in the Indian Ocean Region, the fight against terrorism, as well as the need to reform and defend the multilateral system centered on the United Nations.
