Aditi Palo
Aditi Palo is a research analyst with the Advanced Biology programme at the Takshashila Institution. Her work lies at the intersection of biology and public policy, with a primary focus on the Indian Bioeconomy.
She holds a BS-MS dual degree in biology from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, where her research spanned tumour immunology, neuroscience, and synthetic biology. Her master’s thesis at the Immunosurveillance Lab, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, examined the functioning of immune cells in a tumour microenvironment. She also led IISER Pune’s gold medal-winning iGEM team in 2022, working on genetically engineered solutions to waterlogging stress in plants (Read more on the website: Hydrazome).
