Takshashila Hosts Ravi Narayan

The Takshashila Institution hosted Mr. Ravi Narayan, Chair, Governing Council, at the Asia Pacific Water Forum at their office on 10 October 2017,

Mr. Narayan spoke extensively about how the world is entering into an age of water shortage and competition. Given his extensive experience, he gave a detailed description of how different countries in Asia Pacific are managing water. He also took the audience through the science of water flow, the consequences of altering the flow of water in the long and short terms and how best to utilise existing water resources.

Mr. Narayan also touched upon some of the policy issues plaguing water in the Asia-Pacific region.
