All Things Policy Completes 1000 Episodes

Takshashila Institution’s and the world’s only daily public policy podcast completed 1000 episodes on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. We marked the event with the release of a special episode and a small celebration at our office, in which Rohini Nilekani and Amit Varma also joined us.

In January 2019, when we began All Things Policy, the world appeared on the precipice of change. Major power frictions were on the rise. Economic globalisation was increasingly looking strained. And a new technological revolution was on the horizon. 

Today, in January 2023, we believe that it is time to re-evaluate our assumptions and findings about where the world is heading. What’s needed is a new paradigm of thinking through the opportunities and challenges of the future.

Therefore, in the special 1000th episode, we had Nitin Pai and Pranay Kotasthane discuss the macro-changes in the world order over the last three years since we began the All Things Policy podcast and suggest certain frames of reference to better analyse the current world disorder. And they also agreed to tackle some selected listeners’ questions as well!
