Utkarsh Narain

Utkarsh Narain was a Research Analyst in the High-Tech Geopolitics Programme at the Takshashila Institution from 2019 to 2020. He is a public policy graduate (specialised in economics & development) from LKY School, NUS and an engineer from IIT Roorkee. He has worked in the technology-policy sector, primarily in regulation of frontier technology, privacy, and governance of multi-sided platforms. He has also worked in the technology sector in the data science domain and was responsible for managing escalations and building risk models to reduce abuse and enhance user trust & safety, as part of the Credit & Fraud Risk team at American Express.
