Megha Pardhi
Megha was a Research Analyst (China Studies) at The Takshashila Institution. Her research focuses on China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and the role of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Quantum Computing in the military. She also studies Information Warfare, including Electronic Warfare, Cyber Warfare, and Cognitive Warfare.
She writes a weekly newsletter, China Tech Dispatch, following discourse on emerging technologies in PLA and other science and technology-related developments in China.
Before joining Takshashila, she worked as a research intern at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), Delhi. She has also interned with the Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS), the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), and NITI Aayog.
Megha has a Master’s degree in Politics and International Relations from JNU, Delhi, and BE in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune. She was one of a few students selected as a sponsored scholar for the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) Conference. Megha has also represented India in several youth delegations, including the China-India Youth dialogue at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and the youth dialogue at the Embassy of Azerbaijan.
Her writing has been previously published by South China Morning Post (SCMP), The Diplomat, Firstpost, Deccan Herald, Hindustan Times, ORF, and ICS, among others.
