Nitin Pai speaks at the International Conference on Energy Security Challenges

Takshashila's Nitin Pai speaks at the the International Conference on Energy Security Challenges on "An 'Eightfold path' to secure supply of nuclear energy infrastructure". The conference was held on 13th December, in Kochi.Nitin explained his eight fold part to securing nuclear fuel. The steps included allowing different types of fuels from different suppliers through different routes, trading with suppliers and buying from trading partners, preferring purchase from competitive markets, the fungibility of fuel, risk-sharing between plant communities and user communities, securing supply routes and an investment in the domestic industry.Nitin also talked about how we should anticipate a generation that takes 24X7 power for granted, and  explained how this would lead our politics to evolve around that expectation.
