Shibani Mehta speaks at an International Seminar on CTBT in St Petersburg

Shibani Mehta was a speaker in a seminar on 'CTBT and Its Place in the International Nonproliferation Architecture: Assessment of the Current State of Affairs' organised by the CTBTO, Center for Energy and Security Studies (CENESS) and St Petersburg University.The seminar aimed at assessing the prospects of achieving progress with regards to the CTBT in the short- and medium-term perspective. Shibani delivered a short presentation with India’s national position with regards to the CTBT in the context of the international non-proliferation regime. Other participants included representatives from France, Russia, Egypt and Iran.The seminar was held from 10 November -12 November 2019, on the margins of the 2019 Moscow Nonproliferation Conference.
