Pranay Kotasthane quoted in Arab News on India and the Quad

PM Modi will attend a Quad summit scheduled to take place in the White House on September 24. In this context, Pranay Kotasthane was quoted in an Arab News article on the possible agenda of the Quad summit. He was quoted as saying:

The (Quad’s) working groups on COVID-19 vaccines, critical and emerging technologies, and climate change were formed after the March summit, so I expect some announcements on each of these areas after the September meeting. I don’t think Afghanistan will be a major focus area — the focus will be eastwards.
