Manoj Kewalramani quoted in VOA

Manoj Kewalramani, chair of Indo-Pacific Studies and a fellow at Takshashila Institution, was quoted in VOA.

He was quoted as saying:

“This is actually China giving up on (territorial dispute) negotiations in disguise. For India, this geographical name management regulation is actually China sending a signal: We are not willing to negotiate and we want to strengthen our position. This is not a That’s a good thing, because we don’t see the problem being solved in the short term.”
