Rakshith Shetty, Research Analyst with the Indo-Pacific Studies Programme at the Takshashila Institution, was quoted in VOA on how China can expand its influence in Bangladesh.

He was quoted as saying, "China's strategy of engaging with the interim government shows a subtle, adaptive and proactive approach. China quickly welcomed the formation of the interim government and sent diplomats to attend Yunus' swearing-in ceremony.”
