Anupam Manur quoted in Arab News on how India’s suspension of sugar exports will affect import-reliant Arab countries

Anupam Manur, Assistant Professor at Takshashila was quoted in Arab News. He was quoted as saying:

“While these sets of restrictions will force the Arab world to diversify their supply sources, it will take time to change suppliers,”

He added: ““In the short-run, higher food inflation will be seen.”
