Pranay Kotasthane quoted in VOA on US-India semiconductor agreement

Pranay Kotasthane, deputy director of the Takshashila Institution and chair of High Tech Geopolitics Programme, was quoted in VOA on US-India semiconductor agreement.

He was quoted as saying, “The semiconductor supply chain is highly concentrated in a few regions, which makes the United States extremely vulnerable to supply disruptions. Integrating India into this system is part of the United States' broader plan to diversify its supply chain and reduce its dependence on China.”
