CIS Roundtable on Data Protection and Privacy

Manasa Venkataraman from the Takshashila Institution participated in a roundtable conference hosted by the Center for Internet and Society (CIS) on 9 December 2017.

The roundtable was organised in New Delhi, and had participants from across the country. The topics discussed ranged from data protection, privacy, and covered various aspects of data protection that must be considered before a data protection law comes into force. Manasa spoke about institutional frameworks required for a data protection law.
