Anupam Manur Delivers Guest Lecture at Maharani Lakshmi Ammani College

Anupam Manur, Research Fellow at the Takshashila Institution, delivered a guest lecture at the Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women (MLAC) on 6 January 2017.

Anupam spoke extensively on the effects of demonetisation and the methods of coping with it. The lecture also covered the benefits and potential perils of a cashless society for the consumer at an individual level and for vendors and businesses at the macroeconomic level.

The lecture also touched upon the different payments systems such as Aadhaar Enabled Payment Systems (AEPS), Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD), e-wallets along with its benefits and pitfalls.
