Takshashila hosts the fourth Bengaluru Science Policy Forum meeting

The Takshashila Institution hosted the fourth Bengaluru Science Policy Forum meeting on 29 January 2025. The theme of the meeting was 'One Nation One Subscription' (ONOS). The discussion covered both ‘science for policy’ and ‘policy for science’ aspects of ONOS.

Bengaluru Science Policy Forum brings together scientists and experts to discuss and deliberate on public policy issues. The forum seeks to initiate conversations between science and policy communities across India. It aims to sensitise scientists on societal engagement and realities through training, discuss ethical issues related to emerging technologies and engage with policymakers to push for change in the Indian science ecosystem.

The Takshashila Institution is an independent centre for research and education in public policy. It is a nonpartisan, non-profit organisation that advocates the values of freedom, openness, tolerance, pluralism, and responsible citizenship.
