Takshashila Hosts Australian Delegation Led By Asst. Minister Mr. Tim Watts

The Takshashila Institution hosted the Australian delegation led by Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr. Tim Watts for a discussion on India-Australia ties on Tuesday, 15th November 2022. Australia’s High Commissioner to India Barry O’Farrell AO and Consul General for South India Ms. Sarah Kirlew were also present.

We held a wide-ranging discussion on future opportunities for the Quad, bilateral trade and investment, semiconductors, outer space and talent exchange, within the India-Australia context.

Manoj Kewalramani, Chair of the Indo-Pacific Studies Programme and Fellow - China Studies at Takshashila also hosted Mr. Tim Watts on our podcast All Things Policy and discussed Australia’s role in the Indo-Pacific region, Quad, AUKUS and the future of India-Australia ties.
