Good friend Narayan Ramachandran has written a piece in MINT today on how Indians should be a little more visible and strut around the global stage. He contrasts the enormous mileage that China has got by being seen as the saviour of Euope, without ever throwing a dime at them.
He is right conceptually and from a geo-political perspective although I am not sure India has the resources. The interesting thing is that Chinese do not either. But, they have created the impression that they are already at the big table and they have been accepted. That is the difference between them and India.
