Takshashila launches the Intelligence Reform Project

The Takshashila Institution has launched an Intelligence Reform Project today. Anand Arni, Distinguished Fellow at Takshashila, will head this policy research project as its director. Mr Arni, a career intelligence officer, retired as Special Secretary in the Research & Analysis Wing (R&AW), Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India.

The project aims to reimagine the role, structure, and function of India’s intelligence establishment. As part of the project, Takshashila will publish research reports and articles, and organise events to bring a wide range of ideas into the debate over intelligence policy. This is an independent, non-government project that aims at providing high quality inputs to India’s policymakers.
