Takshashila Institution and Hudson Insititute conclude the China Challenge series

After six weeks of #DeepWebinars, between August 28 and October 2, covering every major aspect of China’s rise, The China Challenge, a collaboration between Takshashila Institution and Hudson Institute has now concluded.

The series covered a range of strategic and economic issues concerning India, China, and the United States. The fundamental question underpinning these discussions was how India and the US can and should respond to China’s increasing assertiveness and growing global ambitions.

DeepWebinars are thoughtfully curated conversations that bring together great panelists and interesting discussants from diverse backgrounds.

Host Pranay Kotasthane, head of research at the Takshashila Institution and panelists Ambassador Nirupama Menon Rao, former Indian foreign secretary, and Ambassador Husain Haqqani, director for South and Central Asia at Hudson Institute and former Pakistani ambassador to the United States discussed the implications of China’s rise on the world order.

Hamsini Hariharan, host of the States of Anarchy podcast; Shreya Upadhyay, Principal Analyst, India Bound and Akshay Alladi, an alumnus of Takshashila’s GCPP programme joined the #DeepWebinar has discussants.
