The Takshashila Institution hosted Air Vice Marshal Arjun Subramaniam at their office in Ulsoor, Bengaluru as part of the Bangalore Fellows Programme.

Mr. Subramaniam is a serving Air Vice Marshal with the Indian Air Force. He has more than 3000 hours of flying, mainly on Mig-21s and Mirage –2000 aircraft. An alumnus of Defence Services Staff College and National Defence College, Arjun Subramaniam also holds a PhD in Defence and Strategic Studies from The University of Madras.

In his visit, Mr. Subramaniam interacted with Takshashila fellows on India’s strategic response and the prominent role of the Indian Air Force in protecting our country.

The Bangalore Fellows Programme is an initiative by Takshashila which endeavours to bring the most talented scholars and intellectuals to Bangalore for public talks, private conclaves and research interactions.
