Takshashila hosted the second weekend workshop in Bangalore for students from the ninth intake of the Graduate Certificate in Public Policy course between 28th and 30th of November, 2014. The workshop took place in the outskirts of Bangalore, in a resort at the foothills of Nandi Hills.
Over three days, students formed teams to design a policy for practical issues, taking into account multiple factors and challenges that go into policymaking. Lecturers at the workshop included Nitin Pai, Pavan Srinath and Pranay Kotasthane. Over twenty five students attended the workshop. The workshop was the second of two contact sessions that form an offline complement to the largely online certificate course offered by the Takshashila Institution. The course runs for a period of 12 weeks and is suited for active students, working professionals and those of various backgrounds.
