First weekend workshop for the thirteenth cohort of GCPP

The first weekend workshop of the 13th consecutive batch of the Takshashila’s Graduate Certificate in Public Policy Programme (GCPP) was held in TERI from February 26-28, 2016.
Speakers at the workshop included Rohini Nilekani, Kiran Jonnalgadda, Narayan Ramachandran, V Vinay, Aditya Sinha, Anjali Mohan, Nitin Pai, Pavan Srinath, Pranay Kotasthane,Anupam Manur and Sarah Farooqui .

The workshop covered a plethora of interesting topics which included public policymaking, economic reasoning, state of higher education,”Save the internet campaign”, fundamentals of writing well, media and politics, role of NGOs, narratives in policymaking and urban governance.

Other than the GCPP alumni and guests, over 30 students participated in the workshop. The workshop was the first of two offline contact sessions that complement the largely online certificate course offered by the Takshashila Institution. The course runs for a period of 12 weeks and is suited for active students and working professionals from various backgrounds.
