Dr Govinda Rao Delivers Lecture on Macroeconomic Environment

Dr. Govinda Rao, Advisor and Faculty at the Takshashila Institution, delivered a lecture on macroeconomic environment and the need for fiscal and monetary policies to improve this environment, at the Indian Institute of World Culture, Wadia Road on Sunday, 25 September 2015.

Dr. Rao also spoke extensively about reforms that need to be taken place in the corporate, public and banking sectors to realise the vision of an $8 trillion economy by 2030, as has been envisaged by Niti Aayog.

The lecture was held in honour of the noted economist PR Brahmananda who is credited with the introduction of the Vakil-Brahmananda wage-goods model.
