Once paid, the course fee is non-refundable. A student can, however, defer admission to the course to the subsequent three batches without incurring any additional cost.
Do you offer EMI option for paying the fees?

Yes. When you proceed to the course fee payment, you will have the option to choose EMI as your preferred method of payment. You will need a credit card with banks supported by CCAvenue or a debit card that supports the EMI option.

Can I apply for financial support?

It is recommended that applicants seek financial support only if they cannot take the course without it. There will be a limited number of scholarships to enable deserving candidates to take the course.

An applicant seeking financial support will be asked to provide reasons why such financial support should be extended to them. If their application is shortlisted for admission and financial support, they might also be asked to provide further information and supporting documents.

Please note that financial support is by no means guaranteed. Students who receive financial support are liable to pay the full fees in case they do not complete the course with satisfactory performance.

Are all programmes recognised by universities across India?

No. We have not sought approval from any government body. Our commitment is to provide the highest quality education possible to candidates who seek it.

What this means is that the GCPP might not be considered a valid qualification for employment/career advancement within the services of the Government of India and other State governments. See this participant survey.

The program has helped me get a better domain knowledge and understand the policy aspect of my work in the political space. The faculty is exceptionally good, they inculcate better reasoning ability to overcome personal biases. The program is flexible and has the option to personalize for working professionals like me. PGP has added great value to the work I do with politics and the public policy space, and has empowered me to be a better change maker!

I worked in a creative industry – Game Product Development on Mobile Platforms. My world was filled with conversations around Design, Art, Software Systems, Business Strategy and Execution. After a decade and half building a reasonably successful career, I was at cross-roads; I had to choose between doubling down on my corporate career and go full steam or make a dash and switch my focus towards a career that allowed to me play a direct role in Nation-Building. While the vision was strong, it would’ve been naïve to jump into it without understanding how governance works in India – The PGP course offered by Takshashila was the anchor I was looking for.

To create an impact through your work in Public Policy, you need a nuanced understanding of the intersection between Geo-Politics and Strategy, Political Structures/Philosophies and Delivery Systems, Economics, Technology and Public Finances with concrete skills to express ideas in an influential manner and the PGP course equips you with that repertoire. The course structure enabled me to do this while working and I eventually managed to switch into Public Policy as my main area of work. As with any other move in life, there are risks and trade-off’s and they might be different for each individual but for people looking to make this switch and seeking a way to train themselves and build the knowledge and discipline, I would recommend joining the PGP course.
