Once paid, the course fee is non-refundable. A student can, however, defer admission to the course to the subsequent three batches without incurring any additional cost.
Do you offer EMI option for paying the fees?

Yes. When you proceed to the course fee payment, you will have the option to choose EMI as your preferred method of payment. You will need a credit card with banks supported by CCAvenue or a debit card that supports the EMI option.

Can I apply for financial support?

It is recommended that applicants seek financial support only if they cannot take the course without it. There will be a limited number of scholarships to enable deserving candidates to take the course.

An applicant seeking financial support will be asked to provide reasons why such financial support should be extended to them. If their application is shortlisted for admission and financial support, they might also be asked to provide further information and supporting documents.

Please note that financial support is by no means guaranteed. Students who receive financial support are liable to pay the full fees in case they do not complete the course with satisfactory performance.

Are all programmes recognised by universities across India?

No. We have not sought approval from any government body. Our commitment is to provide the highest quality education possible to candidates who seek it.

What this means is that the GCPP might not be considered a valid qualification for employment/career advancement within the services of the Government of India and other State governments. See this participant survey.

The PGP course, to my mind, is structured in the manner of a gradual unveiling of an exquisite creature. I had a strong understanding of the basics of economics, international relations, public finance and political economy from this course which gave me the required tools to indulge heavily in the practical sessions of policy application. I am fortunate to get an excellent faculty who deeply engaged me throughout the course by way of rigorous assignments, discussions and most importantly inculcated a culture of applying my mind over social issues in a structured way.  The strategic placing of masterclasses throughout the course duration by eminent social scientists and economists have been of great value to me. Being an intellectual property rights and data privacy lawyer and an alumna of the Columbia Business School, NY, this course has helped me consolidate my professional learnings and propel my focus on Public Policy. I strongly recommend this course to people who are keen to understand the roots of change-making which contributes to nation-building.

Soumili Das, PGP 4

I was part of the first cohort of students for the GCPP(Health and Life Sciences) and I am really enjoying the course! The past 7 weeks have been an intense, fun and enriching experience where policy enthusiasts like me, from different backgrounds, have had the opportunity tolearn from each other. The course is very well curated and taught by an amazing faculty. I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in science, public policy and the way the two interact with each other.

2. All of the workshops for the 2021 cohort of the Post-Graduate Programme (PGP) will be held online.
3. When we determine it is safe, Takshashila will conduct optional hackathons/workshops free of charge at Nandi Hills, north of Bangalore city, for all students who want the full learning experience. Students will have to bear their own travel and accommodation expenses.
