Takshashila seeks candidates who are deeply committed to transforming India for the better by engaging in public affairs. It welcomes applicants from any discipline, geographical location occupation or age group.
A bachelor’s degree in any discipline. While the course is not maths-intensive, 10th standard (or equivalent) level of mathematical skills is necessary. The course will be conducted and assessed in English.
We also accommodate a select few full-time undergraduate students in the GCPP, and upon completion they receive a "Certificate in Public Policy" until they graduate college. A few places have been set aside to encourage and prepare younger people to take an active interest in public affairs.
Application Fee: Rs 500/-
Normal course fee: Rs 30,000/-
Student course fee: Rs. 20,000/-
(excluding GST of 18%)
Applicants with means are welcome to contribute to the Financial Support Fund to enable deserving students to benefit from the programme.
Note: The course fee covers expenses for accessing Takshashila's Learning Management Suite which includes curated readings, Takshashila's in-house frameworks and webinars, and for gaining entry to the workshops. The course fee does not cover expenses incurred for stay or travel undertaken for participating in the workshops.
Applicants who have no source of income can apply for a partial fee waiver by filling up the relevant section in the application form. Such candidates will then be interviewed by the admissions committee. If the request is accepted, applicants will be given a waiver of Rs. 15,000/.
Please note that the number of waivers for financial support in every batch are limited.

To apply, fill in the online application form. After completing the form, you have to pay an application amount of Rs 500 online. Your application will be considered only after we receive the application fee.
Applicants who meet our admission requirements will be offered admission on a first-come-first-served basis. You are encouraged to submit your applications early.
