Dr Sudha Ramachandran is an independent journalist/ political analyst based in Bangalore. Her articles on South Asian political, security, peace and conflict issues have been published in The Diplomat, China Brief, Asia Times Online, CACIAnalyst, etc. She has a doctoral degree in South Asian studies from the School of International Studies at the Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi.
Sudha has reported on the India-Pakistan talks, talks at the UN on the non-proliferation treaty and from several conflict areas including Kashmir, India’s Maoist areas, Sri Lanka, Fiji, etc. She has been teaching a course on Critical International Issues at the College of Journalism in Chennai since 2001, and a module on Peace and Conflict in South Asia at the Oslo-based Kulturstudier’s Peace and Conflict course at Puducherry, India between 2007 and 2017.
