Anupam Manur is a Research Fellow at the Takshashila Institution.
He was previously working as a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Management – Bangalore. He has published over twenty editorial article in the Financial Express, The Hindu, NDTV, Scroll, Bloomberg Quint, and others on food inflation. He has done his Masters in International Business (Economics) from Lancaster University, UK, through a £6000 scholarship. He did his under graduation from Christ University, Bangalore, where he often goes back to teach. Anupam also teaches short beginner and intermediate courses in French when time permits. In his spare time, he likes to trek and has managed to climb the five tallest peaks in the UK and many others in the Western Ghats and the Himalayas.
His policy research areas are at the intersection of economics, technology, and public policy. He is currently working on digital payments, blockchain and bitcoins, urban transport, and unaccounted income in India.
