Donors
The Takshashila Institution is a non-profit trust and relies on funding from individuals and corporations to support its activities. Your contribution could be in the form of a small donation to finance our operating costs or a bigger donation into our endowment fund.

To donate: Please send a cheque or bank draft, in favour of THE TAKSHASHILA INSTITUTION, to our correspondence address. We accept donations from Indian nationals and institutions. Please include your name, address and PAN number when you send us the cheque. In case you wish to make a wire transfer, please contact our programme manager for details.

(Takshashila has applied for tax deductibility under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Once approved, donations made from the date of application will be tax deductible in accordance with the provisions of the Act.)

Fellows
If you are interested to participate in a policy research programme, you could apply to be a Fellow or Research Associate. To apply, fill in the membership application form online, and indicate your interest in becoming a Fellow/Research Associate (under “Purpose”).

Members
Individuals who share a deep commitment to Takshashila’s values and goals can join the institution as Members.

The membership programme is designed to promote active learning, participation and co-creation of Takshashila’s intellectual output. Every member is expected to contribute to the institution’s discourse by participating in the annual conclave and the online collaboration platform.

Membership privileges include invitations to exclusive closed-door events; opportunities to contribute to policy briefs; a subscription to the digital and print editions of Pragati – The Indian National Interest Review and all publications.

Members will be required to donate Rs 5000 per annum to The Takshashila Institution which will constitute membership fees. Student Members will be required to donate Rs 500 per annum.
