The Takshashila Institution conducted the second contact workshop for the Graduate Certificate in Strategic Studies (GCSS) programme from 10 to 12 August 2018 at Discovery Village, Nandi Hills. The workshop comprised three days of intense experiential learning delivered through Exercise Amrut, Takshashila's crisis simulation game. Designed to hone skills such as crisis management, negotiating and decision-making through role-playing, Exercise Amrut is a unique component of the GCSS.
The second cohort of the GCSS has 30 students drawn from a rich variety of professional and educational backgrounds. Participants include researchers, software professionals, students, and consultants working with governments.
