As an Associate Research Fellow at the Takshashila Institution, you will

  • Do high-quality analysis, research and writing right from day zero
  • Teach Takshashila's public policy students across our various courses, as well as get involved in curriculum development

  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of economics. Should be able to unpack microeconomic concepts both through reasoning and through equations -- and be able to apply it to real world situations which have sparse data.
  • Interest in (and some knowledge of) a wide range of public policy issues concerning India, and a passion to understand them better and try solving them.
  • Active engagement on social media, engaging in public debate with civility, but while trying to persuade others on ideas that you believe in.
  • An even temperament, an ability to conduct dispassionate analysis, and not let partisan biases and blind spots affect your work.
